I am reminded of the beautiful song with the words "Because He lives I can face tomorrow. Because He lives all fear is gone." I know He hold the future. What a blessed hope.
Easter has evolved into a fun Easter Bunny kind of day for many. Certainly we can have fun, but let's remember what Easter is really about and be thankful that He holds the future, and we don't need to fear if we have accepted Him as our Lord and Savior. If this is not true for you, I pray you will give it much thought and prayer. Your future depends on it.

Wonderful thoughts this morning, Charlotte! Looking forward to linking this Sunday - I have to keep to my self-imposed schedule, you know! Hope you have a blessed weekend!
ReplyDeleteYes so very true Charlotte. We have so much to be thankful for. As believers, we should give honor to Christ for giving His life to save us. Thank you for your thoughts this morning. Have a very blessed Easter.

It is amazing grace that God would give us His Only Son, knowing we would treat Him like scum and degrade Him to death. Blessed be the name of our God, He also knew that His Son's obedience would take our sins away and if we believe, we will be with Him forever. What love! Resurrection Day is the most important day of the year. God bless, Dr. Bobbi
ReplyDeleteI love that song! We do need to keep the meaning of Easter and this is one of the timeless messages to help us.
ReplyDeleteAs you can see, I too love the old masters depictions of biblical life. May you and your family enjoy the richness and beauty of this season. Blessings xo Susy
ReplyDeleteBEautiful post and photo today :) :) Love and hugs from the ocean shores of California, Heather :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter Charlotte! Thank you so much for introducing me to this wonderful community of believers! He is Risen! Hallelujah!
ReplyDeleteI love that song. Happy Easter, Charlotte.
ReplyDeleteI love that song, too, Charlotte, "Because He Lives". I often sing it in my private worship time. It's true that for some, the Lord's resurrection has been reduced to just cute bunnies and colorful sweets, etc. But we need to teach our children the true meaning of Easter.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter to you and yours!

Yes, because of Easter, we can face whatever comes our way, through God's grace.
ReplyDeleteOn Good Friday, I just couldn't post my normal Fit Mommy check-in, but instead posted about the best fitness training of all, the foundation of it all.
I'm glad I found your link up.
wishing you and Cliff and wonderful Easter weekend....it's also the beginning of Passover. Really thankful for the message of deliverance, freedom and hope.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful post Charlotte. Blessings, Debbie
ReplyDeleteAs always such a beautiful post Charlotte. Wishing you and your family a beautiful Easter weekend. We have been given the gift of such beautiful Spring like weather here in Tampa Bay Fl for Easter weekend. We had the hottest March on record and today and tomorrow are going to by very dry (not humid) and high 70's or very low 80's with a delightful breeze. I am sitting on my porch typing this! I had an issue and had to leave two entries. #40 does not connect. I cannot find a way to delete that one. I double checked #41 and that does connect. Thank you always for being such a gracious, warm hostess. Blessings.
ReplyDeleteHe Lives, he lives Christ Jesus lives today, He walks with me and He talks with me along lifes narrow way. - - I know he lives because He lives within my heart. I like the other songs too Because He lives I can face what ever tomorrow holds, for He holds the future.
ReplyDeleteThank you Charlotte. He is risen!
ReplyDeleteI love that song, too! This is my first time here. You have a lovely site. Happy Easter!
ReplyDeleteBlessings to you and yours, Charlotte, as we celebrate our Rise Messiah.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter to you Charlotte and thank you for your faithfulness in providing us with this link each week!
ReplyDeleteI was inspired to write both a devotional (#50) and to bring back my Songs Of Worship Series (#52) for Easter. I hope that both are a blessing!

"Because He Lives" has been on my mind, too. It brings together the conflicting realities of this sometimes hard life and God's promises for us. Good thoughts for this Easter.
ReplyDeleteLovely photo and reminder! May you and yours have a blessed Resurrection Sunday!
