You are all sons of the light and sons of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness. So then, let us not be like others, who are asleep, but let us be alert and self-controlled. For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk, get drunk at night. But since we belong to the day, let us be self-controlled, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet. For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him. - 1 Thessalonians 5:5-10 (NIV)

Charlotte, I am identifying with you about your how long you will continue to host Spiritual Sundays now that Ginger is not co-hosting. With the Lord's leading, I have created the daily devotional, posting a devotional every morning since 2008. I often wonder how long I will keep doing this as it takes prayer, study, time, and focus. Everytime I get the same response. The Lord will clearly let me know when and if it is time to wrap up this part of my ministry. Until then, a devotion will be posted every day as it has since 2008.

SS definitely 'blesses.' I love reading what others post...and it makes me strong in my own faith b/c it gets me thinking about Him when I post...And the bonus...meeting so many awesome people. Thanks Charlotte...I think this is totally amazing what you and Ginger have started. Have a great weekend out there.
ReplyDeleteCharlotte,
ReplyDeleteI am so appreciative of your willingness to host each week.
Spiritual Sundays has been a blessing to me over the past couple of years. I have met many new friends and have been greatly encouraged by reading other's posts.
Many blessings,
Joan
Thank you for your ministry with this blog. Have a wonderful week, Charlotte!
ReplyDeleteI may have not joined for a while but this place always serves as a great encouragement, a place of rejuvenation for one's spirit. Thank you sister Charlotte for everything you do for the Lord. God bless you and always strengthen you.
ReplyDeleteI haven't visited for several weeks due to my mother's illness, and am sorry to hear that Ginger stopped co-hosting. Charlotte, I just want you to know what a blessing this blog is to me. I don't know of another place like it, and I thank you (and Ginger) for all you've done to bless and encourage others.
ReplyDeleteShalom,
Gail
Hi Charlotte! I am always happy to be here! Enjoy your week and thank you for sharing this lovely verse with us. One of my favorite's!
ReplyDeleteCharlotte, you're such a beautiful blessing to us all! I thank God for you!
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited that I could link now. I switched from Internet Explorer to Mozilla Firefox and it worked. Thanks for being patient with me and for your help all those past weeks :).
Things in life do seem easier when we have a partner, but I know Ginger will always be here with you in heart.♥
ReplyDeleteDear Charlotte, I pray that the Lord will not cease to give you strength, courage and inspiration to continue hosting Spiritual Sundays. You're generous in this way - giving us all the opportunity to share and tell of the Lord Jesus - and also visiting us and leaving your comments to let us know someone cares.
ReplyDeleteI love linking up with SS not only because I write mostly about spiritual things but also because I have felt the warmth of friendship here.
