WELCOME AGAIN

Here it is another weekend, and I want to welcome you back to Spiritual Sundays. We had a few less people share last week. I think it was because of Valentine's Day and also it was a holiday weekend. I'm so excited to see that 123 people are now following this blog plus 21 on facebook.

We hope you will want to share an inspirational post on your blog (if you have a blog) and link it here. If you need information on how to do it, you can click HERE. Reading what others have shared is a real blessing to me each week and I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. If you do not have time to visit all the links over the weekend, I hope you will come back during the week. I know some of you do that. Now, I want to wish each of you a blessed Spiritual Sunday.
P.S. After I posted this message, I found out that one of my blogging and facebook friends is having severe gall bladder problems. I have been praying for her and knew you would want to pray for her too. Many of you are probably friends of hers as well. She is Joyce (The Secret Gardener.)     Blessings to you and Ginger. I said this last week, but this site is such a blessing to me. It's encouraging to see so many come together to share in God's goodness and to give Him glorly.

    I had an unsettling experience after I began following your blog. One of the members read some of my blog posts and commented. This person expressed that my "story" may be just that, "a story", that may or may not be true AND that my story actually doesn't matter. I found that so invalidating. I believe that my "story", my "truth" is 'me' and therefore it matters very much. I fought long and hard to embrace my truth and celebrate and love all of myself. I ran from myself for years and at great cost. I believe that when we are broken and poured out so others can have hope than we are in fact "Eucharistic". We cannot be Eucharistic if we are running from ourselves. That is all we have to offer one another - is the gift of self. If this person's thinking that commented so dismissively onm y blog is reflective of the philosophy here then I don't belong. I am fine with that and if that is the case I just need to know how to remove my blog-link from this site.

  4. Just wanted to say thank you for Hosting this very important feature each week. I know it blesses me and many others.

    I just read Gails comment and I am shocked that anyone would leave such a harmful comment. I don't know Gail, and don't have time right now to go meet her but I will later, and want to encourage her to be her real self, just as she has stated. My last post, before this one was on that very subject!!!
