SIDEBAR LINK TO SPIRITUAL SUNDAYS

Some have wanted to know how to put this picture/link on their sidebar. One way to do it is to right click on the picture above and save picture to your computer. 

On your blog click on Layout and then Add a Gadget. Then click on add picture. Add the picture from your computer (you do not need to check "shrink to fit") and where it says "link" type http://bloggerspirit.blogspot.com/  Then click save. This should work. If it doesn't, you can give me your e-mail address and I can e-mail the code. I haven't figured out a way to get the code on this blog but I can email it.

Happy Spiritual Sundays Weekend. This award was given to both Ginger and me by Ms Daisy at The Daisy Chain for creating this Spiritual Sundays blog. Thank you, Ms Daisy. We have so enjoyed being able to use this means to share with you and other bloggers.

Tuesday Morning Update

I just wanted to let everybody know that Ginger and her husband and two other family members have been visiting with us since Friday. They just left a few minutes ago to go back to California. We miss them already, but had such a nice visit. I'm sure you've noticed the picture of Ginger and me on the sidebar that we took while they were here. 

Here is a picture of the gift Ginger brought to me - a lovely leather case with cards in it advertising our Spiritual Sundays blog and also some darling angel cards with scriptures on the back. That was such a thoughtful thing for her to do, but I'm not surprised because she is a very thoughtful person. Now I have cards that I can give to people to lead them to the Spiritual Sundays blog.

We are so happy that so many people have been coming to this blog for spiritual and inspirational encouragement. We appreciate all the nice comments we have gotten and are grateful to all who have shared the links to posts on their blogs. I believe that God is using this outlet for good. We certainly pray his blessings on it and on each person who visits here.

A Great Story

Welcome back to Spiritual Sundays. We consider this a great way for bloggers to share our spiritual and inspirational insight. Again a big Thank You to everybody who participated last week. Now, let's do it again. Before you sign your name and URL, you need to go ahead and publish your Spiritual Sundays post on your own blog. Then click on the time it was published (at the bottom of the post). That will take you to a page that has just that one post on it. Copy the http:// thing at the top and paste that address in the URL on Mr. Linky. I know this is a little confusing to some, but once you learn it, it is very simple.

If you have not already seen the previous post please scroll down to the post with Ruthie's picture. Ruthie was the first one to sign onto Mr. Linky last week which was our first time. This is just our second time to do this. We are hoping that more and more people will discover how rewarding this sharing can be and will want to join in.

Spiritual Sundays Update

I promised to post a picture of the give-away that we sent to Ruthie for being the first person to sign onto this new blog. I took pictures of the two books before I sent them, but I like the picture Ruthie took better, so I'm using her picture. I love the one of her holding the books. You can click on her name to go to her post about this subject.

It's almost time for our second Spiritual Sundays. Mr. Linky will be up again by noon this coming Saturday, August 9. Hope to meet many of you back here.

Thank You

Ginger just posted her "thank you" and I want to add my "thank you" also to everyone who joined in for our first Spiritual Sundays day.

It was not announced, but we decided to give a gift to the first person to sign on to Mr. Link on our first day. I am happy to announce that Ruthie is that person. I have been inspired by posts that Ruthie has made for a long time. As soon as she receives the gift, I will post a picture to share with everyone. There is a sense in which I feel like each one of us has received a "gift"- the gift of being blessed by reading each post. 

We are looking forward to doing this again this weekend and hope that you are too.

Everyday when we post it's usually about our homes, or a special something that we have, or a meal that we ate. All of this is because of God and is Gods. It was so refreshing to me to be able to have a special day to glorify him with you.
I was so happy to see how many participated in our first Spiritual Sunday.
All of your post touched my heart. Thank-you very much for that. I am looking forward to many more Sundays to come so I can read thing just like yesterday, and grow nearer to God together.
